about

saidsound, an alias for label head, Ezekiel Honig, brings two dark, deep, hypnotic minimal techno tracks filled with head swimming bass, concrete percussion, and truncated vocal bumps. Perfect for the late-night/early-morning recesses of the club, both cuts sway around their center without straying too far.

"Singing Singers Singing" fragments, pitches and layers the voice-as-rhythm over subs and hand-made incidental noise, while "Reworking the Laundry," as the title hints, reworks the track "My Laundry is Drying" (Macrofun Volume 4). This updated version takes the most effective parts and frames them with rearranged percussion loops, siren-like piano/pads, and a more direct vision of the original.
